Hydrogen Sulfide SensorHydrogen sulfide is a colorless gas that has a strong odor of rotten eggs. Hydrogen sulfide is an extremely toxic and irritating gas. Hydrogen Sulfide poisoning occurs mainly in industrial processes. Early recognition and detection is crucial to protect life.
Hydrogen sulfide sensors carried by Sensor eStore are based either on electrochemical technology or on sensor tube technology. The operation of the electrochemical gas sensors is based on detection of hydrogen sulfide gas at the active electrode. At this point, it produces an electrical signal in proportional to the hydrogen sulfide concentration. The sensor tubes indicate amount of gas by color change of chemically coated granules in a glass tube. |
